Frequently Asked Questions:

What is included in my home inspection?

A: We follow the Standards of Practices mandated by the State of New Jersey.  Please see the below link to the New Jersey Administrative Code governing home inspectors.

NJAC 30:14-15.16

What should I expect the day of the inspection?

A: A typical home inspection has a duration of between 2 to 3 hours.  Our inspector will methodically move throughout the property, documenting conditions to include in the written report.  We encourage buyers to view the property during the inspection, and raise any concerns to the attention of the inspector.  The inspector will host a brief conference at the end of the inspection with the client and the client's relator, to provide a brief summary of findings and demonstrate any problems in person.

When can I expect the final report?

A: The home inspector's written report will normally be sent via email the day after the inspection.  Results from the radon test, if taken, normally take approximately 5 business days to complete.
